Holiday Specials 

Holiday Specials is a good way to make things fun and exciting for out clients in their tennis lesson! The way we do that is simply by setting up cones on the other side of the net giving targets for the Players to knock over. In doing so depended on the number they receive a gift such as a gift card, gifts pertaining to that special, or donating to a charity of your choice.

January 1st

New Years Day

When it comes to the new year, it becomes exciting to figure out what everyone's new aspirations are for the year! For this special we make sure that all our players aim at the cones spelling out which ever year it becomes! This will go on from a week from January 1st but its up to the CLIENT to take the opportunity to doing it as its not a Mandatory thing to do but rather there for our clients to enjoy a fun test of skill and aim! Players will have 30 cones to aim at that spell " *YEAR*"and only have 20 balls to hit towards them

January 15th

Martin Luther King Day

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed on the third Monday of January each year. King was chief spokesperson for nonviolent activism in the Civil Rights Movement, which protested racial discrimination in federal and state law and civil society. This will go on from a week from January 15th but its up to the CLIENT to take the opportunity to doing it as its not a Mandatory thing to do but rather there for our clients to enjoy a fun test of skill and aim! Players will have 30 cones to aim at that spell "MLK" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them 

Febuary (Black History Month) 

Black History Month

Black History is important in Mr Perez and also other black individuals in general. Ever since Abraham Lincoln has free the slaves, I think celebrating individual black leaders like MLK, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, and many more is a celebration worth doing because if that wasn't the case this world would have missed all that we've accomplish toward a better future not just for all but for Black people. 

All month long, Players will have 30 cones to aim at that spell "FREE" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

February 14th  

Valentines Day

Love keeps the world going around and as everyone knows its also in the game of tennis too. This will go on from a week from February 14th but its up to the CLIENT to take the opportunity to doing it as its not a Mandatory thing to do but rather there for our clients to enjoy a fun test of skill and aim! Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "heart symbol" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

February 19th

Presidents Day

​Presidents Day is such an important day I think more have to understand why exactly that is! Well choosing the right president means support you and your rights toward things that might need changing or adjusting! However, I think also it matters who we believe is the best president to guide our fellow Americans to success but also protect us as well! his will go on from a week from February 19th but its up to the CLIENT to take the opportunity to doing it as its not a Mandatory thing to do but rather there for our clients to enjoy a fun test of skill and aim! Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "USA" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

March 1st(all month long)

Womans History Month

Womans History Month is the reminder of womans empowerment in the world! A lot of times people forget just how powerful woman can be and them having a say is just as important than what a man can say, equal rights!

All month long, Players will have 30 cones to aim at that show the symbol " circle and plus underneath it" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

March 17th 

St Patricks Day

St Patrick is one of Ireland's patron saints and many Americans with Irish ancestry remember him on March 17. Patrick's Day is fixed on March 17, but may occasionally be moved by Catholic Church authorities. This happened in 1940, so that the celebrations would not fall on Palm Sunday, and in 2008 to avoid Holy Monday, the last Monday before Easter Sunday. Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "Clover Symbol" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

March 31st

Easter Sunday

Many churches hold special services on Easter Sunday, which celebrate the Jesus Christ's resurrection after his crucifixion. Many people also decorate eggs. These can be hard boiled eggs that can be eaten later, but may also be model eggs made of plastic, chocolate, candy or other materials. It is also common to organize Easter egg hunts. Eggs of some form are hidden, supposedly by a rabbit or hare. People, especially children, then search for them.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "EGG" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

April 15th

Tax Day 

A large proportion of residents of the USA have to inform the IRS of all income that they received in the previous fiscal year. Some groups, particularly veterans, pensioners and some low-income families, do not have to file a tax return unless they wish to qualify for certain types of income subsidy. Others may wait until the last moment to file their tax return and pay any money they owe. Some people may find that filing a tax return is complicated, while others may feel that they should not have to pay income tax.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that show the symbol "TAX" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

May 1st (all month long)

Military Month Appreciation

National Military Appreciation Month, also known as Military Appreciation Month, is a month-long observance in the United States, dedicated to people who are currently serving in, and veterans of, the United States military. Each year, the observance runs from May 1 to May 31.

 Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "ARMY" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

May 5th

Cico De Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is seen as a day to celebrate the culture, achievements and experiences of people with a Mexican background, who live in the United States. There is a large commercial element to the day, with businesses promoting Mexican services and goods, particularly food, drinks and music. Other aspects of the day center around traditional symbols of Mexican life, such as the Virgin de Guadalupe, and Mexican-Americans who have achieved fame, fortune and influence in the United States.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "5" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

May 12th 

Mothers Day 

Mother's Day has become a day that focuses on generally recognizing mothers' and mother figures' roles. Mother's Day has also become an increasingly important event for businesses in recent years. This is particularly true of restaurants and companies that manufacture and sell cards and gift items.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that show the symbol "MOM" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

May 27th

Memorial Day

It is traditional to fly the flag of the United States at half staff from dawn until noon. Many people visit cemeteries and memorials, particularly to honor those who have died in military service. Many volunteers place an American flag on each grave in national cemeteries. Memorial Day is combined with Jefferson Davis' Birthday in Mississippi.

 Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "FLAG" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

June 16th

Fathers  Day 

Father's Day is an occasion to mark and celebrate the contribution that your own father has made to your life. Many people send or give cards or gifts to their fathers. Common Father's Day gifts include sports items or clothing, electronic gadgets, outdoor cooking supplies and tools for household maintenance.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that show the symbol "DAD" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

Juneteenth 

Slavery in the United States can be traced back to the 16th century when Spanish explorers brought African slaves with them to the New World. It lasted until the Emancipation Proclamation came into effect on January 1, 1863. On that date Texas was largely controlled by forces fighting for the Confederate States, which opposed the abolition of slavery.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "FREE" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

Independence Day

 Independence Day is a patriotic holiday for celebrating the United States. Politicians appear at public events to show their support for their country’s history, heritage, and people. Above all, people in the United States express and give thanks for the freedom and liberties fought by the first generation of many of today’s Americans. The Statue of Liberty is a national monument associated with Independence Day. Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "4th" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

September 2nd

Labor Day

Labor Day has deep roots in the 130 years of the labor movement and its efforts to improve working conditions in America. It is also known as International Workers’ Day or May Day and is celebrated on May 1 internationally. With the growth of the Industrial Revolution came the demand for labor and trade unions. Around the 1850s, eight-hour movements across the world aimed to reduce the working day from ten to eight hours. At its first congress in 1886, the American Federation of Labour called for a general strike in Chicago on May 1 to demand an eight-hour day, which culminated in what is known today as the Haymarket affair. Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "OFF" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

October 31st

Halloween 

Halloween originated as a pagan festival in parts of Northern Europe, particularly around what is now the United Kingdom. Many European cultural traditions hold that Halloween is a time when magic is most potent and spirits can make contact with the physical world. In Christian times, it became a celebration of the evening before All Saints’ Day. Immigrants from Scotland and Ireland brought the holiday to the United States. Players encouraged to wear there costumes for lessons.Players will have 30 cones to aim at that show the symbol "BOO" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them. 

November 5th

Election Day

In 1792, a law was passed allowing each of the states to conduct presidential elections at any point in the 34 days before the first Wednesday in December. This was the date when the meetings of the Electors of the U.S. president and vice-president, known as the Electoral Colleges, were held in each state. A date in November or early December was preferable because the harvest would have been finished, but the most severe winter storms would not have begun.

 Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "VOTE" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

November 11th 

Veterans Day 

​Veterans Day is intended to honor and thank all military personnel who served the United States in all wars, particularly living veterans. It is marked by parades and church services and in many places the American flag is hung at half mast. A period of silence lasting two minutes may be held at 11am. Some schools are closed on Veterans Day, while others do not close, but choose to mark the occasion with special assemblies or other activities. Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "VETS" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.

November 28th

Thanksgiving Day 

Thanksgiving Day has been an annual holiday in the United States since 1863. However, not everyone sees Thanksgiving Day as a cause for celebration. Some in the US Native American community feel the mythology of the holiday ignores the destruction of indigenous cultures that followed European settlement.

Players will have 30 cones to aim at that show the symbol "FOOD" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them. 

December 1-15th 

Open for the winter

We are open from December 1st through December 15th for business. We understand how busy the winter time gets with going on vactions with the family so we will closed from December 16th-January 2nd. 

 Players will have 30 cones to aim at that displays the "* the current year we are in" and only have 20 balls to hit towards them.
